About me

Egija Kuda - the presence and hands behind Minutell.
We are all trapped within the frameworks of time - alarms, deadlines, schedules, and an endless rush of the mind. Time is measured in seconds, completely unaware that life lives itself.
Between these everyday functions exists a world where complete freedom reigns. This is the space where Minutell is born.
Time as a "problem" exists only in the mind. The mind is always either regretting yesterday or fearing tomorrow. But, when viewed from pure presence, time loses its power. The hand simply moves from one number to the next; life is happening. Look, the second hand is moving - the only place you are actually alive is here.
Every clock and lighting object in this gallery is not a pre-planned design product or a calculated business plan. Although an idea may seem clear at first, the creation process is always a leap into the unknown. As hands touch the material, the past fades away, the ego and thoughts about the future dissolve, and nothing is left but pure, unblemished presence - the resistance of the material, movement, and absolute silence. The final result is never known in advance until it is complete. That is precisely why these pieces are alive.
Why these clocks and art objects?
These items are not meant to count down the hours until another workday. They are created to bring presence into a space. When looking at a wall clock or a lighting object crafted by hand, the exact moment where time stood still can be felt. These are pieces of the present moment materialized in form and matter, serving as a daily reminder: the only thing that truly exists is this moment; everything else is just a story within it.
Creation is a labor of love and a parallel world where energy and true essence are reclaimed. The direction is clear - transforming this passion into a full-time journey, living closer to nature, by the water, dedicating all time to creating and sharing this awareness.
By acquiring a piece from Minutell, one is not simply buying an interior element or a wall clock. A piece of that silence, that awareness, and that unrepeatable present moment in which it was created is brought home.
